Wow. Macs were floundering just a few years ago, but today, in the US, Macs comprise 66% of *all* computers sold at retail for over $1000. Sure, not everyone spends over $1000 on their computer and not everyone buys through a physical store, but it’s still pretty amazing.
In education, Macs are even more popular than in general retail terms, but I didn’t expect to see Mac usage like this.
Can I just say “woohoo!” to the fact that the just-announced Dreamweaver CS4 beta is using Safari’s WebKit engine for rendering? No more guessing what on earth a page is going to look like! Yay!
I should probably try to find/write more Illustrator tutorials like this one. It’s a fine program with many hidden features.
Things Hazel Can Do: Shake her head no, and most of the time she really means it. Turn the page in a board book. Recognise the green sheep and laugh. Climb up stairs pretty safely. Climb down stairs mostly safely. Feed herself toast with avocado. Throw said toast to the floor just to see it land. And the big one: stand unaided for a few seconds at a time. She’s growing fast!

This fantastic music video for “Again and Again” is effectively a screencast demoing a ton of cool tricks you can do with a Mac, but isn’t an ad. Great inspiration for what you can do with talent, a computer and enough time.
