I know non-designers don’t usually care about fonts, but you might find this story interesting. The Guardian in the UK is moving to a size between tabloid (trash) and broadsheet (news) so that commuters can read on public transport. It all looks good.
My only doubt is that the new masthead will stand the test of time. I’ve done stuff like that, yet I have a feeling that the two-words-no-spaces-lowercase thing could date before the paper’s next redesign. May time prove me wrong.
Edit: Looking again, maybe it won’t date too badly.
Like the new iPod nano, just wish I could use one while I ride the scooter. Anyway, this little story about the new iTunes is brilliant.
